I received the benefit cosmetics makeup bag for a gift and I thought it was a cute idea and great value for money so I thought I would share it with you guys.

First of all the makeup bag is only available on the American Benefit site so all you Australian ladies will need to go to benefit cosmetics America to order.

The cost of the whole bag with the makeup was $79.00 , which is such an amazing bargain for Australian's as benefit is pretty expensive in Australia and considered a high end brand.

 I’m so happy to try out these benefit products as I received all products that I didn’t own, except for the professional primer as that is the only primer I will use.

Best At Home Acne Treatment

Hey girls,

My skin has cleared up as I was taking medication, but now that I have stopped taking it my skin has started breaking out a little more than I would like.

Well lets face it no one likes there skin breaking out !

As I’m not keen on taking medication to fix my skin I wanted to try some natural treatments that would help in clearing up my skin.

I came across this acne treatment that I thought I would share with you all.

It is so simple and everyone has these two ingredients in their cupboard.

HONEY AND CINNAMOM

The honey acts as a natural antiseptic so its great for healing and soothing the skin. Because honey has so many amazing quality’s it is also good for treating acne if you have acne from bacteria on the skin, but if you are suffering from hormonal acne then this will help soothe your skin but wont treat the acne.

The cinnamon has anti bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help with removing any bacteria on your skin that can cause acne or breakouts. While also soothing the area by making your pimples less inflamed.

THE MASK.

You will need:

2 tablespoons of honey- THE RAWER THE BETTER. 

1 tablespoon Cinnamon

Once you have combined these two ingredients in a bowl and it is a paste like my picture below.

You then want to place this mask all over your face, it may heat up on your skin if you have sensitive skin from the cinnamon but it’s nothing you cant handle.

Once you have left it on for 10 minutes minutes you then want to wash your face with warm water and a clean face washer to remove all the product.

Walla you have an easy, cost effective at home acne mask.

Your face is left feeling so fresh and smooth I hope you all enjoy this.

Bourjois Happy light foundation review | First Impression.

 Hello Girls,

Today I bought the Bourjois happy light foundation and have finally had time to fake tan so I thought I would try out this new foundation that everyone has been raving about on YouTube and in blogs.

So first of all when I applied this foundation it was a very nice consistency it wasn’t to heavy or cakey it gave a really lovely finish to my face as well, it was a medium coverage which I like for everyday use.

When applying this foundation I only needed to use two pumps for my whole face. I found that the foundation blended beautifully as well.

The great thing about this foundation is it doesn’t leave you matte but doesn’t leave you dewy. It’s a perfect in between finish; I suppose it’s a natural glow.

One pump, Shade: Golden Beige.

I absolutely love foundations that leave you with a natural glow instead of being cakey and where you can really tell, “that person has foundation on” it gives the impression that its just your natural skin looking glowey.

For me I have combination skin, an oily T zone area but the rest of my face is normal. I was a bit concerned that I would of ended up very oily after 6-8 hours but surprisingly my face looked good, a slight glow but that is expected I have definitely had foundations that leave me a shiny mess.

One of the other things I loved about this foundation is it did not separate around any areas of my face, some foundations with the consistency and coverage like this foundation have separated around the noise and mouth area leaving your foundation looking patchy, but everything stayed put I was so happy.

This after 4 hours of wear and it still looks lovely.

Things I love about this foundation

1.     Not a heavy foundation

2.     Leaves you with a lovely glowing finish

3.     Lasts all day

4.     Doesn’t separate on skin

5.     Good for oily skin

6.     Looks lovely in photos

If you are in Australia and looking to purchase this foundation I purchased mine from Priceline and it was $29.00 but it is definitely worth the price it goes on and lasts like a high end product would.

Hello beautiful people,

Today I was in the shower doing my weekly hair treatment and I thought I should share with you some products from the drug store that have improved the condition of my hair dramatically for a low cost. Before using these products I used to swear by highly expensive hairdresser quality shampoos and treatments but when coming across these products that work perfectly together I wouldn’t waste my money on expensive products anymore.

So the first thing I like to use is the Herbal Essence Honey I’m Strong Shampoo and conditioner. I absolutely love this combination of shampoo and conditioner it has improved the condition of my hair so much. It’s truly unbelievable because six months ago my hair was damaged and breaking off, but now it has grown dramatically and the strength of my hair has improved by over 50%.

To follow up after shampooing and conditioning I use the Schwarzkopf Extra Care Hair Care - Ultimate Repair Mask. I used to use the honey I’m strong treatment but after trying this one it is so amazing! I love it so much it has improved my hair strength dramatically as well. The great thing about this treatment is you can do it while you’re in the shower; it’s a one minute treatment so if you’re in a hurry all you need to do is put it on after shampoo and conditioner once or twice a week for just for one minute and your hair will be left feeling amazing.

Once you are out of the shower and are ready for blow-drying I like to put in my Garnier Fructis. Goodbye Damage Split Ends Serum. This can be put in wet or dry hair, but I prefer to put it in wet and blow dry it out as it leaves an amazing shine to your hair and I believe if you are putting heat on your hair you may as well have the protectant on while using heat. To ensure my hair is completely protected before straightening and blow drying I also like to put in my TRESemmé's Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray. I had an expensive hairdresser thermal spray before, but this one does exactly the same job and smells one million times more amazing.
